Deni Chamberlin

Deni Chamberlin

is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist, an associate professor of journalism at Iowa State University, and the Director of Photography at the Food & Environment Reporting Network. When not helping students in and outside of the classroom, Deni continues to shoot assignments. She has worked for many publications throughout the world, including: TIME Magazine, Mother Jones, New York Times Sunday Magazine, The Guardian, Le Figaro, LibĂ©ration, Washington Post and National Geographic. Most of Deni’s professional career was spent living in Eastern Europe, where she covered the fall of communism and reintegration of Europe for a number of international publications. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Ukraine from 2016-2017. As a professor she has led students on study abroad trips to France, Italy, Poland and Ukraine.
