Academic credit
Students can opt to take our programs for transferable credit, which come through the University of Jamestown or one of our fully accredited local academic partners, depending on the program. Taught by experienced U.S. faculty, programs are generally worth 3 or 6 credit hours.
Transfer credit acceptance ultimately depends on your home university, so please coordinate approval with your home institution before participating. Sample syllabi can be provided to assist you in this process.
Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the University of Jamestown is the ieiMedia school of record, issuing official transcripts to institutions as documentation of credit earned abroad with ieiMedia. A transfer fee of $150 per credit will be added to your program cost if you choose to take an ieiMedia program for credit.
After the program ends and grades have been submitted, we will send an email with instructions about how to obtain credit documentation to all students who chose the academic credit option. They are also available below.
The deadline to complete this form is April 23 for the 2027 programs.
Your fee will be included on your invoice based on your response in the application, and final confirmation will be provided through the Summer 2027 Student Enrollment Form.
IMPORTANT: Failure to submit the ieiMedia UJ Application Credit form by the deadline set by University of Jamestown will result in a denial of the request.
