WELCOME to the Institute for Education in International Media (ieiMedia) blog. For over two decades, our vision has been to provide students with the confidence and purpose needed for a life in global communications. We train students to be emissaries of truth who are inspired to pursue a future as ethical and professional global storytellers.
ieiMedia students have published hundreds of stories from across the globe using text, photography, audio, and video. Here, you'll get to sample some of the amazing work students have produced on location as they develop their journalistic and reporting skills while immersed in local cultures. Programs are held across fascinating travel destinations, including France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Norway, Spain, and Turkey.
Students in ieiMedia programs don’t just see the world; they cover it. Our students have tagged along with truffle hunters in Italy, covered pride marches in Norway, shadowed belly dancers in Istanbul, and interviewed Ukrainian war refugees struggling to make new lives in Germany and France.
Over the coming months, we look forward to sharing practical information about studying and working abroad, including travel tips, photojournalism trends, industry insights, AI updates, scholarship opportunities, and destination highlights.
Our mission at ieiMedia is to provide life-changing and immersive educational experiences abroad for our students. Students learn to tell the world's stories through mentoring and cultural immersion.
If you're considering studying abroad — or a career in multimedia, communications, or journalism — and have questions or topics you'd like us to cover, we'd love to hear from you. Please reach out to us at admissions@ieimedia.com.
Sincerely,
The ieiMedia Team
