Alexandra Goldberg: ieiMedia Intern

Alexandra is a senior at UC Santa Barbara studying Communication with a minor in Professional Writing Journalism. She was a student on the summer 2022 Berlin, Germany trip where she produced articles on German politics, including a feature on the rise of fringe political ideology and a Q&A on purchasing natural gas from Russia. She is a multimedia journalist who has worked in print/web writing, podcasting, broadcast media, and social media journalism. Currently, Alexandra is the Podcast Host/Producer for the Santa Barbara Independent’s weekly news podcast, ’The Indy.’ She also works as a Producer for UCSB’s only broadcast station on campus, UCSB TV, where she manages a team of reporters for a weekly newscast. Alexandra is passionate about political and social justice reporting, and has a deep connection with the Santa Barbara area through her work. She is looking forward to sharing her experience reporting in Berlin and encouraging other students to report abroad.
