Kiara Vance (she/her) joins us with admissions experience in International, Medical, and Higher Education. After finishing her Master of Arts in Higher Education program at Bowling Green State University, she worked as an Education Abroad Coordinator at Colorado State University advising undergraduate students studying in Central and Northern Europe, as well as graduate students traveling to “high-risk” destinations for research and fieldwork. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, she moved to Cleveland to be with her partner and began working at Case Western Reserve University in their Medical School Admission’s and Registrar’s offices. Currently, Kiara is working as an Access and Inclusion Manager at Cleveland Play House and as a Community Advisor with Borderless Friends Forever, a non-profit J-1 exchange program for high school students. She is beyond excited to take on another leadership role in International Education as ieiMedia’s Director of Admissions and aims to create sustainable advising frameworks that holistically support students from application through program completion.
