The 2024 application application period for this summer’s Gilman Scholarship awards closes on Thursday, October 5th, 2023. To apply, you’ll need:

- Advisor certification from your university

Where will you be this summer?
Gilman-McCain Scholarship for Military Families
The U.S. Department of State’s Gilman-McCain Scholarship provides awards of $5,000 for undergraduate child and spousal dependents of active or activated U.S. military personnel to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs.
Applicants must have been awarded one of the Title IV Federal Student Aid Programs.
Don’t delay – the application deadline is Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. PT , and the advisor certification deadline is Thursday, October 12, 2023.
